Account Manager / Marketing Assistant (Entry-Level)

Our core service is Web design; additional services include a full range of creative and strategic services such as copywriting, strategic marketing planning, print design and multimedia.
Job Summary
We are currently looking to grow our team with an Account
Manager / Marketing Assistant. This position’s
primary responsibility will be to manage day-to-day
client interaction via email and phone. This includes
- Managing projects effectively to meet deadlines
- Coordinating with both clients and project consultants (designers, writers, programmers, etc.) about project details
- Addressing client requests/concerns, and
- Managing job orders to consultants.
In addition to client management, this position also offers the opportunity to act as Marketing Assistant for Beyondus marketing initiatives. This may involve administrative management of campaigns, distributing press releases, and monitoring campaign performance. The Account Manager’s role may also include counseling clients about other appropriate services to develop new sales opportunities.
Position Requirements
Beyondus is a “virtual” company so interested
candidates must have access to high-speed Internet and
be extremely self-motivated. Candidates should be located
in Western New York to enable in-person meetings and
trainings with the company principals and attendance
at occasional local client meetings and events.
The Account Manager / Marketing Assistant position requires a set commitment of 25-40 hours per week – to be mutually agreed upon. Candidate must be available to work within normal business hours.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, client service and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with website technology, marketing strategies/terminology, and graphic design. Specific experience with giving design direction a plus.
- Expertise with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and general Internet applications. Familiarity with CRM system, specifically SalesForce.com, a plus.
- 1-3 years of customer service and/or marketing experience preferred.
- Marketing or Communications related degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, energetic approach, and personal drive to succeed.
