Web Developer / Web Database Programmer (Consultant)

We are currently looking for an independent contractor with 1 to 3 years of experience in developing websites. This position is ideal for anybody who is currently a freelancer/contractor. Ideally consultant will be located in the Western New York area to allow for in-person collaboration as needed, though this is a telecommute position. Typical work hours range from 10 to 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
The contractor will be responsible for building and maintaining web sites, and some web and user interface design work. Any work done by the contractor must meet Internet standards, be compatible with the most commonly used browsers, be highly stable, offer flexibility, be easily maintainable by any other contractors, and always meet a high level of quality assurance. Must be able to create sites using
and table layouts.

Technology Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- 1 to 3 years experience in creating basic web development
- Excellent customer service experience
- Highly Proficient in the following programming languages: HTML, DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS),.
- Knowledge on ASP.NET, ASP, VBScript, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, C#, XML, XSL, SQL, ActiveX and ColdFusion a plus
- Proficient in Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator
